Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to join a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation project in Germany.

The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end data migration activities including data analysis, extraction, mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, cutover, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LTMOM, Migration Object Templates (MOTs), Staging Table, Direct Transfer and File Transfer methods, along with legacy extraction technologies such as BDC, BAPI, LSMW, IDoc and ALE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze legacy system data and define migration requirements.
- Perform source data analysis, profiling, cleansing and validation.
- Prepare data mapping, transformation and migration strategy documents.




- Design and execute end-to-end migration activities from legacy/SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop, configure and enhance migration objects using SAP Migration Cockpit / LTMC / LTMOM.
- Work with Migration Object Templates (MOTs) and migration templates.
- Execute migration using Staging Table, Direct Transfer and File Transfer approaches.
- Perform data extraction and transformation using appropriate legacy extraction frameworks.
- Work with BDC, BAPI, LSMW, IDoc/ALE and other integration mechanisms where required.
- Handle migration of both master data and transactional data.
- Plan and execute mock migration cycles, reconciliation and data validation.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live/hypercare activities.
- Identify and resolve migration errors and data quality issues.
- Coordinate with functional, technical and business teams to ensure migration readiness.
