Job Description
Responsibilities:
Machine Setting & Operation: Set and operate CNC Turning Centers to produce high-precision metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Setting & Tooling: Perform complete machine setup, including work-holding arrangement, tool mounting, tool offset setting, program loading, and tool wear offset adjustments.
Program & Process: Load and verify CNC programs and make necessary offset adjustments to ensure smooth and accurate production.
Production Efficiency: Ensure the production process runs smoothly and achieve daily production targets with minimum cycle time.
Quality Inspection: Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers,
and Gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Tool Management: Monitor tool condition, tool life, and replace or adjust tools as required during production.
Machine Maintenance Support: Perform basic daily machine checks, including monitoring Coolant levels, Lubrication (Lube) oil levels, and other basic machine conditions.
Shift Responsibility: Capable of independently setting and operating CNC Turning machines during the assigned shift and ensuring production and quality requirements are met.
