C++ Engineer (Micro services, Low Latency, High Throughput)
Position Overview:-
SMC Global is seeking a highly skilled C++ Engineer to join our technology team. This role is focused on developing and optimizing low-latency, high-throughput micro services essential for our high-performance trading platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working in C++ on financial services applications, with a strong background in system optimization to meet real-time processing requirements. Experience with Go (Golang) is an advantage but not a requirement. If you're passionate about working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where precision and performance are critical, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:-
➢ Design, develop, and optimize C++ based trading systems and microservices that deliver low-latency (12,000 requests per second) performance.
➢ Work with trading algorithms, order execution systems, and other core financial technologies to build highly reliable, scalable systems.
➢ Collaborate with product and trading teams to define, design,
and implement microservices that meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
➢ Optimize code to ensure ultra-low latency in a high-frequency trading environment, addressing network and system bottlenecks as they arise.
➢ Conduct system profiling and performance tuning to enhance the speed, scalability, and overall efficiency of trading applications.
➢ Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues, system outages, and bugs related to the trading environment.
➢ Stay abreast of emerging technologies in high-performance computing and financial systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications: -
➢ 4+ years of C++ programming experience, with a focus on low-latency and high-throughput systems.
➢ Proven experience with microservices architecture in a distributed setting.
