About the Role
Gen C Media is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer & Motion Designer who can do more than just execute instructions.
We are looking for someone who can understand a brief, visualise the idea, bring their own creative thinking to the table, and convert concepts into strong visual communication.
You should be someone who does not wait for every element to be explained.
If we communicate an idea, campaign, brand direction, or objective, you should be able to think independently, visualise possibilities, suggest creative directions, and turn them into high-quality designs.
This role will involve working across social media, branding, print, marketing campaigns, and motion graphics.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Design
• Create high-quality social media posts, carousels, stories, campaign creatives, ad creatives, thumbnails, and digital assets




• Develop fresh visual concepts instead of simply following templates
• Understand the objective of the content and suggest the best visual treatment
• Maintain consistency across different brands while ensuring every brand has its own identity
• Work closely with the social media and content teams to convert ideas into effective visual communication
• Understand current design trends without blindly copying them
Creative Thinking & Visualisation
• Understand briefs, references, conversations, and rough ideas and turn them into complete visual concepts
• Come up with your own design ideas and creative directions
• Suggest layouts, typography, visual styles, compositions, and campaign concepts
• Think from the perspective of the brand and target audience
• Be able to work even when the brief is not a ready-made design instruction
• Take ownership of the creative output instead of depending on constant guidance
