About The Role

What Daira says about itself has to survive a clinician, a bureaucrat and a parent reading the same sentence. As Communication Director you will own the external narrative: corporate awareness, partnership and funder communication, policy positioning, and the discipline that keeps every public claim inside what the evidence supports.

Key responsibilities

Own the corporate narrative across web, press and public platforms.
Lead partnership, funder and policy communication.
Build the awareness motion for the ventures and the company behind them.
Hold the dignity rule in every public sentence written about a child.
Work with the clinical team so that no claim outruns its evidence.
Represent Daira at ministry programmes and sector platforms.

What we’re looking for

6+ years in communications, public affairs or policy communication.
Writing that a secretary, a paediatrician and a parent all find clear.




Experience with government or development-sector audiences.
Judgement about what not to say, as much as what to.
