Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Java Software Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based services and applications, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and testable code. You will work with microservices and the Spring Framework to implement new features, integrate APIs, and optimize performance. Daily activities include participating in code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional team members,



troubleshooting production and integration issues, and writing unit and integration tests. You will also contribute to technical design discussions, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and tools.
Qualifications
Robust core Java, Programming, and Software Development skills, with experience building production-grade applications.
Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework and related Spring ecosystem components (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data).
Knowledge of Microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs, service communication, and basic observability practices.
Familiarity with modern development workflows, including version control (Git), testing (unit/integration), and continuous integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
