AI for Engineering Science Lab at IIT Kanpur invites application for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow

Nature of Work

The candidate will work on designing Accelerated Framework for Discovery Materials. The candidate will be work in a team.

Essential Qualification
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Computational Physics/ Computational Chemistry
The candidate should have robust background in statistical mechanics, molecular simulations and thermodynamics.
The candidate should have a significant experience in classical molecular simulations, particularly Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics.
The candidate should have a rich experience in coding in python, and experience of the Linux environment.
The candidate should have experience in using AI tools and methods.

Duration of Appointment
The appointment will be upon satisfactory performance in the interview. The appointment for the above posts initially will be for 1 year, which is extendable for 3 years.
The post is purely temporary and on a contractual basis.
Salary: INR 60,000-80,000 per month (consolidated) based on experience.
