Medical Receptionist/Administrator
Reports to: Senior Medical Receptionist / Practice Owner

Location: Telehealth - Hybrid/Virtual
Role Purpose
The Medical Receptionist will provide skilled front-desk and administrative support for Telehealth clinic. The role is responsible for patient bookings, reception duties, billing, communication, records management, and supporting doctors, nurses, allied health providers, and patients. Please note this role can be offered to work 100% 'remotely/work from home' for the right candidate.

Care Telehealth is the telehealth division operated by Care Medical Practice Pty Ltd. It provides healthcare services through digital and remote consultation channels and may engage General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, specialists, allied health professionals, administrative personnel, technology support providers and independent contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, manage enquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments using the practice management system.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using the Halaxy practice management system is essential.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including Medicare details, contact details, concession cards, and billing information.
- Process new patient forms, consent forms, referrals, reports, emails, and other correspondence.
- Support recalls, reminders, SMS communications, and patient follow-ups.
