About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Control Engineer – Motor Drives to help develop a high-performance embedded control platform for next-generation electric drive and motion-control systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role at the intersection of Motor Control, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, and Real-Time Software.
The engineer will work closely with the hardware and controls teams to design, develop, tune, and validate a deterministic, scalable, and reusable motor-control platform that is fully owned in-house.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond integrating vendor SDKs and reference firmware and instead take ownership of the core motor-control architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize Field-Oriented Control (FOC) / Vector Control algorithms for high-performance electric motor drives.
Design and architect real-time embedded firmware for STM32, TI C2000, or equivalent microcontroller platforms.
Develop high-frequency control loops for torque, current, velocity, and position control.




Configure and optimize PWM generation, ADC triggering, synchronized sampling, dead-time handling, and inverter switching.
Interface with current sensors, voltage sensors, temperature sensors, Hall sensors, incremental encoders, absolute encoders, and other feedback devices.
Develop rotor position and velocity estimation and feedback-processing algorithms.
Perform motor parameter identification, controller tuning, and performance optimization.
Develop robust embedded firmware in C/C++ with emphasis on deterministic execution and maintainable architecture.
Design firmware layers for motor control, communication, diagnostics, configuration, fault handling, and system monitoring.
Develop and maintain communication interfaces using CAN and CAN-FD.
Contribute toward future industrial communication integration including EtherCAT.
Perform motor-controller board bring-up and peripheral validation.
