Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior BMS Firmware Developer with strong experience in Embedded Firmware Development and BMS systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in LVBMS/HVBMS and should be capable of taking ownership of firmware development while guiding the firmware team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for LVBMS and HVBMS.
Design and implement BMS protection and control algorithms.
Work on SOC, SOH, cell balancing, current/voltage/temperature monitoring and fault management.
Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++.
Hands-on experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, Timers and Interrupts.
Develop and maintain Bootloader and Firmware Upgrade mechanisms.
Work with RTOS/FreeRTOS and develop reliable, non-blocking embedded software.
Debug firmware and system-level issues using CAN tools, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and firmware validation.




Analyze field/customer issues and identify the root cause and permanent solution.
Take complete ownership of assigned firmware modules from requirement to release.
Guide and mentor junior and mid-level firmware engineers.
Work closely with Hardware, Testing and System teams for product development and validation.
Required Skills
5–7 years of experience in Embedded Firmware Development.
Strong hands-on experience in LVBMS/HVBMS.
Strong programming skills in Embedded C.
Good understanding of BMS architecture and protection algorithms.
Experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C and ADC.
Experience in Bootloader and Firmware Upgrade.
Experience with RTOS/FreeRTOS is preferred.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Git, code review and static code analysis tools is preferred.
Knowledge of MISRA-C and ISO 26262 is an added advantage.
