About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Associate to drive customer acquisition and business growth for our international logistics services. The candidate will be responsible for generating and following up with leads, conducting warm calls, onboarding channel/overseas agents, and keeping the company updated with current market rates and competitor pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Generate current B2B and B2C leads through various channels, including databases, online platforms, referrals, social media, marketplaces, and business networks.
Make warm calls and follow-ups with potential customers to understand their international shipping requirements.
Maintain regular communication with leads and convert qualified prospects into paying customers.
Understand customer requirements such as international courier, commercial shipments, import/export, relocation, e-commerce shipments, and cargo requirements.
Prepare and share suitable quotations based on customer requirements.




Negotiate with customers and close deals while maintaining healthy margins for the company.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
Identify and approach international logistics agents, freight forwarders, courier partners, and local agents for business partnerships.
Onboard new agents and coordinate with them for shipment requirements, rates, service areas, and operational support.
Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable logistics partners in different countries.
Regularly collect and compare market quotes/rates from agents, courier companies, freight forwarders, and competitors.
Monitor international shipping rates, service availability, transit times, surcharges, and market trends.
Share updated market pricing with the management/sales team to help prepare competitive quotations.
Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, quotations, conversions, and agent information.
