Role Description The UK, Germany Payroll (Subject Matter Expert) is a full time remote role responsible for overseeing accurate, compliant payroll processing for employees in the UK and Germany. This role manages end-to-end payroll cycles, including data collection, validation, calculation, and review of payroll outputs, while ensuring compliance with local tax, social security, and labor regulations. The SME will serve as the key point of contact for clients,



addressing complex payroll queries, advising on regulatory changes, and supporting implementation of new processes and systems. Day-to-day tasks include handling statutory filings, managing garnishments and other deductions, coordinating with internal teams and external providers, and continuously improving payroll workflows and documentation. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK and German payroll legislation and contributing to best practices across the wider payroll operations team.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in payroll administration and payroll processing for the UK and Germany, with a proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll cycles.
Knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll services, including statutory filings, social contributions, and employer reporting requirements.
Experience handling garnishments and other statutory or court-ordered deductions in
