Role Description The Head Chef at Suchitam is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore & Bhopal. This position is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, designing and refining menus that complement the brand’s traditional concept, and ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all food items. The Head Chef will manage kitchen staff scheduling and training, supervise food preparation, and maintain strict standards for hygiene, safety, and inventory control. The role includes collaborating with management on new offerings, cost control,



and supplier relationships, as well as supporting special events and seasonal menus that enhance guest experience. The Head Chef will be expected to lead by example, foster a positive work setting, and uphold the brand’s values in everyday operations.

Qualifications

Professional culinary expertise, including experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality-focused food service.
Strong skills in menu planning, recipe development, food presentation, and maintaining consistent flavor and quality.
Knowledge of Indian cuisine and snacks that pair well with chai, with an interest in regional and nostalgic flavors.
Proficiency in kitchen operations management, including inventory control, cost management, vendor coordination, and compliance with food safety standards.
