About Slayble
Slayble is a monthly fashion subscription service. Members subscribe monthly and receive a new set of clothes every week, delivered to their door and collected when they are ready for the next one.

About the role
The Head of Fashion owns what our members see. You will decide which brands we work with and which garments enter our catalogue, build the collections our members browse, and set the standard every piece must meet before it goes live.
Because each garment is worn by many members across its life, this role sits where fashion judgement meets garment expertise. It calls for both: a clear instinct for what our members will want to wear, and the technical grounding to assess fabric, construction and finish, and to judge how a piece will hold up in sustained use.
This is a founding role, reporting to the Founder, with full ownership of the fashion function and the scope to build a team behind it.

Responsibilities
Own the catalogue end to end — final approval on every brand and every garment that goes live to members.
Build and curate the collections members browse,



and the calendar behind them.
Define and maintain the standards a garment must meet: fabric, construction, fit, embellishment, seasonality and price.
Assess garment quality and durability, and set the benchmarks the wider team works to.
Build relationships with our brand partners and lead commercial discussions with them.
Own the category, size and price architecture of the catalogue.
Track how the catalogue performs and act on it — what to introduce, what to retire.
Work closely with the operations and product teams as the service scales.

What we're looking for
Five or more years in apparel merchandising, buying, category management or technical design, with an Indian brand, retailer or marketplace.
Solid working knowledge of fabric, garment construction and quality standards — you can read a specification and assess a garment on more than how it looks.
