We're Hiring | Senior Platform Engineer – JFrog Artifactory

Location: India

NextGen Identity is looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer specializing in JFrog Artifactory and Open Source Package Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage JFrog Artifactory, preferably SaaS, in production environments.
- Manage repositories, permissions and repository layouts across multiple technology ecosystems.
- Manage third-party and open-source dependencies across Maven/Gradle, npm, PyPI, NuGet and Docker/OCI.
- Integrate Artifactory and dependency workflows with security tools such as JFrog Xray, Black Duck, CodeQL, SonarQube and Prisma Cloud.
- Integrate artifact and security checks into GitHub Enterprise Cloud / GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate Artifactory-related processes using Python, Bash and REST APIs.
- Support artifact governance, vulnerability management, policy enforcement and license compliance.
- Build observability and reporting using platforms such as Elastic and Grafana.




- Work closely with development, security and platform teams.

Required Skills
- Strong production experience with JFrog Artifactory.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
- Strong understanding of software supply chain and open-source dependency management.
- Experience integrating Artifactory with CI/CD and security tooling.
- Good understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.
- Solid communication and independent working skills.

Good to Have
- Financial services / regulated environment experience.
- Open-source license compliance knowledge.
- Terraform / Ansible experience.
- Kubernetes and cloud platform knowledge.
