Rymo Technologies builds the robotic and AI-driven neurorehabilitation systems that help stroke survivors and people with movement impairments recover physical independence faster. Why This Role Exists
As Rymo scales toward US and EU markets,
we're building a dedicated in-house embedded systems function to match — bringing full ownership of firmware and hardware architecture in-house for the first time. This role leads that build-out: set the technical bar from the ground up, and shape how the vertical is run rather than inherit someone else's constraints.
Role Overview
As Senior Firmware / Embedded Systems Engineer, you will own the embedded systems vertical end-to-end — architecture, firmware quality, hardware bring-up, and the roadmap for how our devices are built and certified. You will set technical direction, mentor the Junior Firmware Engineer already on the team, and act as the primary technical point of contact for embedded systems across product, quality/regulatory, and manufacturing. This is an ownership role, not a task-execution role: you will be expected to make and defend architectural decisions, not just implement someone else's.
