Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a Java Gen AI professional with 5–7 years of professional Java development experience and strong expertise in Spring Boot, core Java, and QA automation. The role combines backend application development with automated quality assurance to deliver scalable, maintainable, secure, and reliable solutions. The position contributes to business objectives by developing robust backend services, improving test coverage, integrating quality practices into delivery pipelines, and supporting efficient software delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Software Requirements (Required and Preferred)
Required
Java: 5–7 years of career development experience.
Spring Boot: Strong hands-on experience developing backend applications and services.
Core Java: Strong knowledge of collections, multithreading, exception handling, and design patterns.
QA automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing tools.
Selenium: Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
TestNG and/or JUnit:



Experience creating and executing automated unit, integration, or functional tests.
RestAssured: Experience with REST API testing and automation.
Cypress: Experience may be applied where relevant to the assigned project.
API testing: Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL service testing and automation.
CI/CD tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps.
Version control and collaborative development tools: Experience working within software delivery and code review processes.
Specific software versions are not defined in the requirements; candidates should have experience with versions applicable to the assigned technology environment.
Preferred
Experience using multiple QA automation tools, including Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, and Cypress.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
