Role Description As a Senior Fashion Designer at Modelab, you will lead the end-to-end design process for multiple fashion projects and collections. This full time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves conceptualizing seasonal themes, creating sketches, selecting textiles, and defining design details such as embroidery and trims. You will oversee fittings, ensure garments meet aesthetic and functional standards, and collaborate closely with pattern makers, production teams, and brand founders to align designs with brand identity and market trends.



The role includes mentoring junior designers, reviewing samples, providing feedback on construction and fit, and working with cross-functional teams on lookbooks, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion, including concept development, collection planning, and trend interpretation.
Hands-on expertise in Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to select, combine, and develop fabric and embellishment treatments suitable for each brand.
Advanced skills in Fitting, including evaluating samples on models or forms, adjusting patterns, and ensuring comfort, function, and silhouette integrity.
Proficiency in design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD software) and the ability to create clear technical sketches and spec sheets.
Experience managing design projects from concept to production, working with suppliers, and meeting timelines
