Role Overview:
IES University, Bhopal, is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Deputy Training & Placement Officer (Deputy TPO) to strengthen our Training & Placement function and enhance career opportunities for students.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong corporate relationships, driving campus recruitment, coordinating internships and placements, and improving student employability through industry-oriented training and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Support the TPO in planning and executing the Training & Placement strategy of the University.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, recruiters, MNCs, PSUs, startups and industry partners.
Identify and onboard new companies for campus recruitment, internships and placement drive.
Coordinate the complete placement process from company requirements to final selection.
Organize campus interviews, job fairs, recruitment drives,



pre-placement talks and industry interactions.
Develop opportunities for internships, live projects, industrial visits and corporate training.
Coordinate with academic departments to understand student profiles and placement requirements.
Plan and facilitate soft skills, aptitude, technical, communication and interview preparation programs.
Maintain placement databases, recruiter records, student data and placement reports.
Track placement performance, recruiter feedback and student outcomes.
Ensure regular communication with students and recruiters throughout the placement cycle.
Support the TPO in achieving placement targets and improving recruiter engagement.

Candidate Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, HR, Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
3–7 years of relevant experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, Campus Recruitment, HR or Higher Education.
