Sarvoham is looking for a Manager - Digital Storytelling & Community Outreach who genuinely believes in compassion, animal welfare, animal rights, and responsible people relationships.

This is not a desk-only role. Our Communications, Marketing & Outreach team must understand the realities of working in an animal shelter and be willing to step onto the ground whenever required pro-actively.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is vegan or open to transitioning to veganism, and genuinely understands the ethical principles behind welfare of the animals.
- Genuinely cares about all animals and all species, not only dogs, and believes animals deserve compassion, dignity, freedom from cruelty, and protection from exploitation.
- Is willing to actively advocate for animal rights and welfare, both within and outside the organization.
- Is willing to be hands-on with shelter operations and participate in or support activities such as animal rescues, animal handling, bathing, feeding, walking, cleaning kennels,



maintaining hygiene, enrichment, transportation, and basic shelter upkeep.
- Is willing to work alongside animal caretakers, rescuers, veterinarians, volunteers, and frontline teams, and understands and respects the challenges they face.
- Can respond calmly and responsibly during animal emergencies, rescue situations, difficult cases, injuries, conflicts, and other high-pressure shelter situations.
- Is willing to understand the complete animal-care cycle, from rescue and admission to treatment, rehabilitation, enrichment, adoption, foster care, and end-of-life care where necessary.
- Believes employees working in animal welfare deserve empathy, dignity, fairness, psychological safety, accountability, and solid leadership, while being capable of holding people accountable without losing compassion and humanity.
