n Role Description
n

n H K EXPORTS is looking for a 3D Designer specializing in STL file creation and 3D-printing-ready models. This is a part-time, remote position focused specifically on converting product concepts, sketches, reference images, and design ideas into accurate 3D printable models and production-ready STL files.
n

n The designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models that can be directly used for 3D printing, prototype development, and mould/die making. The role requires a strong understanding of 3D geometry, dimensions, wall thickness, tolerances, printability, and practical manufacturing requirements.

n Key Responsibilities
n





n * Create accurate 3D models from reference images, sketches, and product concepts.
n * Develop STL files specifically optimized for 3D printing.
n * Ensure models are watertight, manifold, and free from non-printable geometry.
n * Design practical geometry suitable for different 3D-printing processes.
n * Maintain appropriate wall thickness, clearances, tolerances, and structural strength.
n * Create models with clean surfaces and accurate dimensions.
n * Modify and refine existing 3D models according to manufacturing requirements.
n * Design models that can be used for prototypes, moulds, dies, and production development.
n * Identify and eliminate issues such as non-manifold edges, intersecting geometry, unnecessary undercuts, floating surfaces, and mesh errors.
n * Provide final files in STL format, along with other 3D formats when required.
