Philip Morris India is hiring for Area Sales Manager Kolkata.
We are looking for a sales qualified who will be primarily responsible for leading the sales within a designated area and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales objectives in line with the company's policies, procedures, and operational framework. The incumbent will work closely with multiple stakeholders to maximize retail leverage, deliver volume and market share targets, and drive profitable growth by providing superior customer service while optimizing product availability and visibility across general trade sales channels.
Principal Accountabilities

Define annual sales objectives and targets for the assigned area, develop execution plans, and implement commercial strategies by effectively cascading them to Territory Sales Executives (TSEs).

Coordinate with partner organizations for sales and sales support operations, manage relationships with key counterparts, and leverage these relationships to ensure smooth execution of agreed sales plans and objectives.

Allocate and manage display-space rental budgets effectively to maximize achievement of sales objectives within the area.

Ensure brand visibility and merchandising are executed according to the cycle plan, with appropriate and effective utilization of POSM (PPOSM/TPOSM) materials in compliance with PMI guidelines, standards, legal requirements, and company policies.

Develop and continuously update an in-depth understanding of industry dynamics within the assigned area and implement plans to maximize both short-term and long-term sales potential.
