Role: Infrastructure Operations Specialist (I) (UNIX/Linux) – P1

? Role Summary
We are looking for an entry-level UNIX/Linux Server Operations Engineer (L1) to support a global infrastructure environment. The role primarily focuses on real-time system monitoring (eyes on glass), incident handling, and basic troubleshooting of UNIX/Linux systems. The candidate will ensure system availability, respond to alerts,



and coordinate with L2/L3 teams and vendors for issue resolution in a high-availability workplace.
This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as you will work with global teams and support critical business systems.

? Key Responsibilities
- Perform 24x7 monitoring of UNIX/Linux servers and infrastructure systems
- Act as first line of support (L1) – detect, log, and respond to alerts and incidents
- Lead initial incident bridge calls and coordinate with L2/L3 teams and vendors
- Manage tickets through ServiceNow / ITSM tools, ensuring SLA adherence
- Perform basic troubleshooting for Linux/UNIX issues and escalate as required
- Monitor system performance using tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk
- Ensure timely communication to stakeholders during incidents
- Follow runbooks/SOPs for incident resolution and escalation
- Assist in documenting operational procedures and improving processes
- Support system availability and performance monitoring acros
