The role is responsible for the management, monitoring, and reconciliation of collateral positions across bilateral and REPO agreements, ensuring accurate margining, timely settlement, and strong control over end to end collateral and margin process including fails and settlement breaks. The role supports risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and efficient post‑trade operations.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with collateral and margin processing across ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA with margin agreement, bookings, dispute management, settlement, reconciliation, upstream and downstream flows, project management and issue resolution.

Accountabilities
- Understanding of terms in CSA/GMRA related to current Clients and changes to existing to ensure they can be supported for collateral management.
- Manage daily margin process across bilateral, REPO and CCP relationships.
- Ensure all bookings, disputes and payments are processed with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor collateral movements, substitutions, disputes,



and settlements across eligible collateral types (cash and non‑cash).

· Perform daily collateral reconciliations between internal systems, counterparties, custodians, and agent banks.

· Reconcile cash and securities balances in Nostro and custody accounts.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks,
- Ensure timely clearance of aged breaks and escalation of high‑risk exceptions.
- Daily management of various data integrity checks and adjustments on legal documentation.
- Oversight over new rules for Initial Margin segregation & Variation Margin. Support any new controls, reporting and processes that need to be put in place to support the new Regulations, like Dodd Frank and the Uncleared Margin Rules, Brexit
- Work on complex client requests, analyse and provide proposal to the business head in terms of collateral acceptability.
