Position: DS/ML Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a DS/ML Engineer to join the DS & AI team at ReNew Digital. The role requires end-to-end

ownership of ML use-cases with a strong focus on predictive maintenance, quick execution, production

deployment, and measurable business impact. The engineer will develop and deploy predictive maintenance

solutions using SCADA/sensor data, build scalable ML pipelines, and integrate with enterprise systems. This

is a high-ownership, on-site role involving direct collaboration with the DS Lead and fast iteration cycles. Only

candidates with real, hands-on production deployment experience will be considered. The ideal candidate

brings 2–6 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering ML solutions from problem definition

through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver ML use-cases from problem definition to production

• Build predictive models for inverter and transformer failure detection





• Develop time-series models for sensor and SCADA data

• Build data pipelines including ETL and feature engineering

• Deploy ML models via APIs and batch pipelines

• Monitor, retrain, and optimize deployed models

• Deliver production-ready ML models with documentation

• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines

• Set up monitoring and retraining workflows

• Produce deployment artifacts and technical documentation

• Collaborate directly with the DS Lead in fast iteration cycles

• Ensure code quality standards (PEP8 score of 7/10 or above)

Required Skills:

• Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)

• Time-series modeling

• ML lifecycle management

• ETL and data pipeline development

• Azure or cloud platform exposure

• API development
