Job Title: Firewall & WAF L3 Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Firewall & WAF L3 Security Engineer to manage enterprise firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in firewall administration, WAF management, security policy implementation, troubleshooting, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise Firewall & WAF infrastructure.
- Configure, implement, and optimize firewall and WAF security policies.
- Perform L3 troubleshooting and resolve complex security incidents.
- Monitor security events and investigate threats.
- Conduct firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and security hardening.
- Support security upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Required Skills
- 9–15 years of IT experience with strong Network Security expertise.




- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower/ASA, or Juniper SRX.
- Experience with F5 ASM/Advanced WAF, Imperva, Akamai, Cloudflare, Azure WAF, or AWS WAF.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, NAT, VPN, IPS/IDS, and SSL Inspection.
- Experience in firewall policy management, security hardening, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
