Senior Technical Analyst (Cloud FinOps) - URGENT

Technical Analyst / FinOps Analyst (6+ yrs) – India Remote

Role Summary:

Own and drive cloud cost optimisation as the FinOps control tower. Convert cost data into business decisions and ensure savings are tracked and realised.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse AWS spend (Cost Explorer, CUR, Athena/SQL)

Identify optimisation opportunities (idle, oversized, duplication)

Build cost models, business cases, and TCO analysis

Track optimisation backlog, execution, and realised savings

Work with engineering, data, and finance teams

Drive governance (budgeting, tagging, cost allocation)

Analyse Big Data platforms (Hadoop/Spark) and AI/LLM costs

Must-Have:

Strong AWS + cloud cost understanding

Solid SQL & data analysis (CUR preferred)

Ability to convert data into insights & decisions

Experience in cross-functional program coordination

FinOps / cost optimisation experience

Big Data (Spark/Hadoop), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
