1. Purpose of Role
To ensure effective legal and regulatory compliance across the organisation’s real estate projects, with particular focus on RERA, MahaRERA, redevelopment matters, agreements, legal documentation and due diligence. The role will proactively identify, mitigate and resolve legal and compliance risks, handle customer, tenant and society-related legal matters, and drive identified issues towards timely closure.
The role will protect the organisation’s legal and commercial interests while ensuring compliance and maintaining a fair, practical and balanced approach towards customers and stakeholders.
2. Key Accountabilities
2.1 RERA & Real Estate Legal Compliance
• Ensure adherence to applicable RERA Act, Rules, MahaRERA requirements and other relevant real estate compliance requirements across projects.
• Proactively identify compliance gaps, legal risks and deviations,



and drive timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, assess their impact and ensure necessary actions are implemented in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
2.2 Redevelopment & Society Matters
• Handle legal aspects and do necessary follow-ups wherever required with appropriate approvals for redevelopment projects, including redevelopment agreements, society documentation and related legal requirements.
• Proactively address and resolve society member and tenant queries, objections, disputes and contractual issues.
• Identify potential legal issues in redevelopment matters at an early stage and drive practical resolution while protecting organisational interests.
2.3 Legal Drafting, Review & Documentation
• Review and support drafting of redevelopment agreements, sale agreements, society agreements, notices, replies and other project-related legal docum
