Job Title: Infra Engineer – Senior Engineer

Location: Hybrid Bengaluru (Whitefield)

Experience: 8–12 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infra Engineer with strong expertise in Linux and Solaris administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing UNIX environments, handling system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and supporting infrastructure operations in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage Linux and Solaris (Solaris 11) environments

Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades

Handle storage implementation and OS administration

Work on performance tuning and system optimization

Support virtualization, clustering, and partitioning





Participate in implementation and migration projects (OVM/OLVM)

Manage tasks independently in a client-facing setup

Required Skills:

Strong experience in UNIX (Solaris & Linux)

Expertise in Oracle VM Manager, LDOM/OVM Administration

Knowledge of OS performance tuning

Understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, switches, protocols)

Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

Scripting skills

Kubernetes experience

Experience with Exadata and PCA
