Information Technology Intern (Software Engineering)
Overview
At Procter & Gamble, IT is at the core of how we innovate, make decisions, and deliver impact at scale. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help design, build, and ship applications on our Data & Analytics Platform, learning modern Agile and DevOps practices while contributing to real, global projects.
You will work alongside experienced full-stack engineers to develop cloud-native solutions, gaining hands-on exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to writing and testing code for Data & Analytics applications
- Support building end-to-end cloud-native (Azure) solutions
- Learn and apply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, Agile, DevOps)
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver features
- Help translate designs into transparent, detailed low-level documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Foundational programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript
- Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A desire to produce high-quality software through testing, code reviews, and teamwork
Preferred Skills (not mandatory)
- Exposure to Spring Framework and/or React
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud services, Python, or Angular
- Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts
- Experience contributing to team projects or technical documentation
