We are looking for a skilled C++ Software Engineer with strong experience in Telecom Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM/FCAPS) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software modules for 4G/5G telecommunications systems, specifically focusing on management protocols like NETCONF and YANG models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code running on Linux platforms.
- Develop and integrate OAM / FCAPS agent software for up-to-date 4G and 5G telecom network equipment.
- Implement network management protocols using NETCONF and YANG modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable telecom solutions.
- Utilize configuration management tools for version control and software integration.
Key Requirements
Must Have
- Educational Background: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E.
/ M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, IT, or MCA.
- Core Development: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in object-oriented design and development using C++ on Linux/Intel platforms.
- Management Protocols: Direct development experience with NETCONF and YANG.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of 5G/4G telecom architectures from a software development or testing perspective.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Telecom O&M; Experience: Prior work on O&M; agents in telecom or datacom devices (3G/4G systems, routers, switches, modems, set-top boxes) or development of network simulators.
- Scripting: Programming skills in Python for automation or tools development.
- Methodologies & Tools: Practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments and version control tools like Git or ClearCase.
