Role Summary:
We are looking for an IT Technical Engineer – Application & License Management to manage and support the R&D; and Engineering (I2M) applications landscape, including software development tools, CAD, CAE, and other engineering productivity applications. The role is responsible for application lifecycle management, software license management,



deployments, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement to deliver secure, reliable, and effective application services for R&D; and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Management
- Manage the lifecycle of R&D; and Engineering applications, including installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and retirement.
- Support application packaging, software distribution, migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh activities.
- Monitor application availability, and performance to ensure reliable application services.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes and agreed service levels.
- Perform application testing, validation, and post-deployment verification.
- Provide Level 2 technical support for application installation, configuration, access, and troubleshooting.
