We are seeking a qualified and experienced EHS Officerwith around 8-10 years of experience in construction projects to oversee and implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) systems at site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations, company HSE policies, and project safety requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across the project.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Health & Safety Management
- Implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and safety management systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices.

2. Site Safety Supervision
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure safe execution of works.
- Supervise high-risk activities including:
- Work at height
- Lifting operations
- Hot works
- Confined space entry
- Excavation activities
- Electrical works




- Ensure availability and proper use of PPE by all site personnel.

3. Risk Assessment & Permit System
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) for construction activities.
- Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Recommend preventive and corrective actions for identified risks.

4. Safety Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety induction programs for recent workers and staff.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, mock drills, and awareness sessions.
- Promote safety culture and behavioral safety practices across the site.

5. Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Prepare incident investigation reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain records of incidents, inspections, audits, and safety statistics.

6. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local labor laws, client HSE requirements
