Description
American Express is seeking an experienced communications qualified to support its colleague communications agenda in India. As American Express' second-largest colleague base globally, India represents a significant and diverse colleague community, making effective communications critical to building alignment, engagement and connection across the organization.
Reporting to the Vice President - Corporate Affairs and Communications, Asia, the Manager - Colleague Communications will help develop and execute communications strategies and programs that connect colleagues to the company's business priorities, leaders, culture and values.
The role requires a strong communicator who combines excellent writing and storytelling capabilities with sound judgement, business acumen and the ability to build strong relationships and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute colleague communications plans and campaigns aligned with business priorities and the broader India and global Corporate Affairs & Communications strategy.




- Partner with senior leaders and business stakeholders to develop clear, consistent and compelling communications that strengthen colleague understanding, engagement and connection.
- Develop and execute leadership communications, including executive messaging, talking points, presentations, town halls, colleague events and other leadership engagements.
- Identify and develop compelling stories that bring to life American Express' business priorities, culture and values and how we back our customers, colleagues and communities.
- Plan and execute colleague engagement communications around key business initiatives, organizational priorities and important moments across the market.
