The position / About the Job:
In this job the Operational Buyer would be responsible for:
- Ensure our capacity needs of our suppliers.
- Communicate material requirements and product specifics to our suppliers.
- Place and secure delivery of purchase orders.
- In case of deviations, limit the deviation and carry out corrective measures.
- Supplier Payment approvals.
- Support the handshake process.
- Focus and track daily results related to the three defined purchasing milestones (quality, delivery, cost)
- Be active at Cell Status Board meetings.
- Be active in problem solving and other improvement activities.
