About the team & role
We are hiring a Product Designer 2 for our Experience team. This team at Smallcase is responsible for business and products across all smallcase owned/managed channels, including smallcase web/app, broker channels and direct-to-consumer marketing channels. You'll be a key player in crafting intuitive and engaging experiences for our users on both our app and website.
You'll be part of a dynamic environment where things move quickly and you can see the direct impact of your work.

What you'll do

Work on a wide range of projects, from new feature development to product enhancements and from problems that are well-known to those more complex and conceptual.

Lead the end-to-end design process:
Work closely with product & business teams to turn product requirements into elegant and effective design solutions, constantly iterate based on feedback and data and translate your designs to build with engineers.

Lead design audits, analyze the design components & patterns used across products in order to ensure scalability and consistency of the smallcase design system.

Embrace a data-driven approach, track key metrics, and use A/B testing and user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.

Coordinate and participate in UX research to help gather user insights.

Keep your finger on the pulse of design trends and best practices, especially within the ever-evolving fintech landscape.
What you'll need:

1-3 years of experience designing experiences for web and mobile interfaces in B2C products.

Proficiency in Figma (our primary design tool) and strong prototyping skills

A genuine interest in fintech and a basic unders
