At Rocket India, the Principal .Net Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable technology solutions that support our mission to “Help Everyone Home.” This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can independently take a project from concept to delivery, drive engineering excellence, and collaborate across teams to build modern, high-performing applications using .Net, React, Angular, and SQL.
About the Role
- Lead end-to-end development of enterprise-grade applications, from requirements analysis and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using .Net technologies, modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular, and SQL-based databases.
- Independently initiate and execute projects from scratch, including architecture decisions, technical planning, coding standards, implementation strategy, and delivery timelines.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, architects,



and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers while promoting best practices in software design, code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to modernize systems, optimize application performance, and improve development efficiency.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise engineering standards, security expectations, and scalable delivery practices.

Minimum Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in .Net development, including designing and building scalable backend services and enterprise applications.
- Proven experience with front-end development using React and Angular.
- Robust working knowledge of SQL, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
