We are looking for a skilled BIW Fixture Design Engineer with 2–6 years of experience in automotive body-in-white (BIW) fixture design and engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5, BIW Fixture Design, and UG NX, along with an understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and fixture development.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying BIW fixtures and tooling used in automotive body assembly. The role requires close attention to dimensional accuracy, manufacturability, assembly feasibility, and design standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BIW fixtures, checking fixtures, and assembly tooling for automotive body-in-white applications.
- Create and modify detailed 3D fixture models and assemblies using CATIA V5 and UG NX.
- Interpret engineering drawings, vehicle layouts, part data, GD&T; requirements,



and manufacturing specifications.
- Develop fixture concepts based on part geometry, assembly sequence, locating schemes, clamping requirements, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Perform fixture design modifications based on engineering changes, manufacturing feedback, and customer requirements.
- Ensure proper locating, clamping, pinning, and supporting strategies for BIW components.
- Work on fixture structures, clamps, locators, brackets, supports, sensors, and other tooling components.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve design and assembly-related issues.
- Ensure designs meet dimensional accuracy, accessibility, safety, ergonomics, and manufacturability requirements.
- Review designs and incorporate feedback from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
