Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will help design, implement, integrate and support manufacturing technologies across Amgen’s global network of manufacturing sites.
You will work across manufacturing automation, information systems, data platforms and emerging technologies, collaborating with Architects, Engineers, Development Teams, Automation teams, Business Owners, Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions.
The successful candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and an interest in applying recent technologies, including AI, to solve real manufacturing challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support technology solutions used within manufacturing environments.
- Work across manufacturing automation systems, manufacturing applications, data platforms and systems integrations.
- Support integration between systems such as PLC/DCS/SCADA, MES, data historians, manufacturing applications,



databases and enterprise/cloud platforms.
- Understand manufacturing processes and translate operational and technical needs into practical technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning applications, infrastructure, automation, interfaces and data flows.
- Collaborate with Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Cybersecurity and DTI teams to develop robust and supportable solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to apply digital technologies, analytics and AI to manufacturing use cases.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate emerging technologies and demonstrate potential business value.
- Support the implementation and expansion of technologies across Amgen’s global manufacturing network.
- Ensure solutions align with Amgen architecture, cybersecurity, compliance and operational standards.
