Job description for Sr Azure lead with MS Fabric, Data Lake, Data factory and SQL

Exp. – 8-12 years

Location – PAN India
- Strategically lead the development of scalable, high-performance data models within the enterprise data warehouse to support advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Oversee the design and governance of semantic models in Power BI, ensuring alignment with enterprise KPIs and enabling self-service analytics across business units.
- Direct the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Lead the integration of data from diverse ERP systems and other enterprise platforms, creating a unified and trusted data foundation.
- Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data quality frameworks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all data assets.




- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand strategic data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of data engineers and BI developers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proactively monitor and enhance database performance, ensuring system resilience and scalability to meet evolving business demands.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data engineering, BI development, or data architecture
- Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, SQL, and up-to-date data warehousing technologies.
- Good to have exp. on Power BI
- Strong understanding of ERP systems integration and enterprise data governance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex data initiatives at scale.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
