Level - 09 - 9 DDC4A Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner for IT Operations, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Veritas NetBackup Administration and implementing technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. Roles & Responsibilities: - Monitoring of netbackup consoles for backup status. - Investigate and fix the backup failures (filesystem/snapshot/Oracle db backups) - Monitoring the netbackup tool catalog backups - Adding/removing the clients from the backup policies - Creating/amendment of backup policies - Installation of backup client on Linux and windows machines - Troubleshooting on the VMWare snapshot backups - Disk pool creation on netbackup for new target devices Skilled & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Veritas NetBackup Administration.



- Good To Have Skills: Experience in other backup and recovery tools. - Strong understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix. - Experience in hardware and software support. - Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols. - Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Veritas NetBackup Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Noida office.
