This part time remote role offers the opportunity to support and maintain Linux-based infrastructure for an international technology environment. You will be responsible for server administration, cloud hosting, deployment systems, monitoring, security, and backup operations. The role spans both traditional dedicated infrastructure and up-to-date cloud platforms, giving you broad exposure across the systems administration landscape. You’ll work with technologies including Linux, Docker, Jenkins, Gerrit, Bitbucket, AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, and database platforms. Success in this position requires strong troubleshooting skills, security awareness, and the ability to work independently. It is well suited to an experienced administrator who enjoys maintaining reliable, secure, and well-performing infrastructure.

Accountabilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers across distributions including Debian, Ubuntu,



and CentOS.
- Perform remote server administration using SSH, SCP, Rsync, SFTP, VNC, and related tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot international server environments, dedicated servers, VPS infrastructure, and cloud-hosted systems.
- Manage web hosting environments using Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Manage SSL certificates, DNS configurations, Cloudflare settings, and website infrastructure.
- Maintain Jenkins deployment environments and Gerrit Code Review systems.
- Set up and maintain projects, repositories, and pipelines using Bitbucket.
- Dockerize applications and build, maintain, and manage custom Docker images.
