Job Description: Sr. Datamart & Talend Developer

Core Tech: Talend, Python, Oracle (PL/SQL), Dimensional Modeling

Role Objective

As a Senior Developer, you will bridge the gap between complex payment data sources and business intelligence. You will design subject-specific data marts using dimensional modeling and build high-performance ETL pipelines using Talend and Python to support mission-critical financial reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Dimensional Modeling: Design and implement robust data mart solutions using Star/Snowflake schemas.

ETL Architecture: Build and optimize end-to-end pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources (Oracle, CSV, JSON, XML).

Python Automation: Develop custom Python applications to transform and generate complex report formats (XLSX, PPTX, PDF) for Business Analysts.

Performance Engineering: Optimize Oracle queries,



indexing strategies, and partitioning for high-concurrency analytics.

Collaboration: Work with Technical Leads and BAs to translate financial requirements into technical delivery.

Required Technical Expertise

ETL & Integration: 7+ years of hands-on experience with Talend and advanced SQL/PL/SQL.

Python for Data: Solid proficiency in Python for ETL automation, data workflow scripting, and file transformations.

Database: Deep understanding of Oracle Database Architecture and data warehousing principles.

Tools: Experience with Control-M (Job Scheduling) and Git/SourceTree (Version Control).

Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with Payment Platforms (WAY4, BASE24) or Merchant Acquiring systems is highly preferred
