Position: Regional Head – Group Term Life Insurance

Reporting To: Zonal Head / Business Head – Group Insurance
Role Purpose
Lead and drive the Group Term Life Insurance business across the assigned region, with end-to-end responsibility for business growth, revenue, profitability, client acquisition, channel development and relationship management.
The role will be responsible for building a strong regional business franchise by developing institutional relationships, expanding the corporate client base, strengthening distribution partnerships and ensuring achievement of business, productivity and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Business Leadership
- Own the regional Group Term Life business P&L; / business targets and deliver sustainable growth.
- Drive achievement of annual and monthly targets across premium, current business,



renewals and profitability.
- Develop and execute the regional business strategy aligned with overall Group Insurance objectives.
- Identify high-potential markets, industries, corporates and institutional segments for business expansion.

2. Corporate & Institutional Acquisition
- Build and manage relationships with large corporates, PSUs, institutions, financial organisations and employee-benefit ecosystems.
- Lead acquisition of new Group Term Life accounts through direct corporate relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Drive large-ticket opportunities from prospecting through negotiation, closure and onboarding.
- Develop a strong pipeline of corporate opportunities and ensure healthy conversion ratios.

3. Distribution & Channel Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, consultants, financial institutions, employee-benefit advisors and other relevant distribution partners.
