- Trains technical staff, maintain discipline, assign duties, ensure smooth functioning of all activities of the laboratory.
- Running quality management system of lab including all QCs, EQAS samples.
- Helping in the implementation in ISO,NABL and NABH. Includes all documentation & maintenance of proper records.
- Supervision and control of tests, standardizing new tests.
- Responsible for laboratory analysis of hematology tests and reporting directly to hematologist.
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment.
- Preparing indents.
- Maintenance of records of purchases.
- Responsible for the management of stocks.
- Control of pre-analytical, analytical and post- analytical variables in performance of tests.
- Release of routine tests reports.
- Responsible for coordinating leaves of junior technical staff.
- To perform tests when there is shortage of staff.
- Implements valuable laboratory practices by providing instructions and training as needed.
- Performs tests as required and assists other senior members of staff in the discharge of their duties.
