Advisor, Systems Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Backup Administrator with solid expertise in enterprise backup, recovery, protection, and backup engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, administration, optimization, automation, and operational support of enterprise backup environments while ensuring compliance, security, and business continuity requirements are met.
This role requires hands-on experience with Rubrik, Dell EMC Data Domain, Avamar, NetWorker, and Infinidat InfiniBox (IBOX) platforms.
The candidate will serve as both an operational SME and an engineering resource, driving backup modernization, capacity planning, performance optimization, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure and application teams.
Key Responsibilities
Backup Infrastructure Administration
Administer and support enterprise backup and recovery platforms, including:
Rubrik, Dell EMC Data Domain, Avamar
Dell EMC NetWorker & Infinidat InfiniBox (IBOX)
Monitor and manage backup environments to ensure successful backup, restore, and replication operations.
Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
Support production, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
Engineering, Lifecycle Management & Optimization
Lead backup platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
