Job Description below :

We are looking for a skilled, process-oriented, and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with 3–5 years of experience in managing enterprise databases and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on expertise in RDBMS technologies such as DB2 and columnar cloud databases, preferably Snowflake, along with exposure to DevOps tools and containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.

The candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, automation, deployment support,



and ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and adherence to operational processes and standards across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain RDBMS environments, primarily IBM DB2.
- Perform core DB2 database administration activities, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Manage DB2 DPF (Database Partitioning Feature) environments and support distributed database architectures.
- Manage and support columnar cloud database platforms, preferably Snowflake, including administrative activities.
- Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
- Optimize database performance through SQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Write and optimize SQL queries ranging from basic to intermediate complexity.
