Job Summary

The Imports Customer Service Specialist will be a key member of the imports support team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients involved in international import shipments. This role focuses on coordinating import processes, handling documentation, resolving inquiries, and ensuring compliance with global regulations to facilitate smooth and timely deliveries. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail,



and a customer-centric approach to maintain high satisfaction levels and support business operations in a fast-paced freight forwarding setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding import shipments, providing timely updates on shipment status, pricing quotes, and tracking information while addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

• Shipment Coordination: Manage the end-to-end import process, including confirming bookings, coordinating with carriers and customs brokers, and ensuring accurate and timely movement of freight to meet delivery deadlines.

• Documentation Handling: Receive, review, and process import documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and avoid delays.
