Role Summary

The Curriculum Head – Science will provide
academic and instructional leadership for the Science curriculum across grades. The role will lead curriculum design, implementation, assessment, teacher
development, and academic quality improvement, ensuring alignment with the
school’s academic vision, learning outcomes, and standards of teaching and
learning.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Science educator
with strong subject expertise and proven experience in curriculum
development, pedagogy, teacher training, assessment design, instructional
coaching, and academic evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum
& Content Development: Lead the design, review, mapping,
sequencing, and progression of the Science curriculum across grades,
ensuring conceptual depth, breadth, academic rigour, and clear learning
outcomes.
- Content
Creation & Curation: Develop, review, and standardise
high-quality Science content including lesson plans, teacher guides,
student learning modules, worksheets, concept resources, presentations,
projects, case studies,



practical activities, enrichment and intervention materials.
- Content
Quality: Ensure all Science content is scientifically accurate,
age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, engaging, well-structured, and
progressively scaffolded, with emphasis on conceptual understanding,
application, scientific reasoning, and higher-order thinking.
- Assessment
Content: Lead the development and quality assurance of question
banks, question papers, competency- and application-based questions, case
studies, practical assessments, projects, rubrics, and formative
assessment resources aligned to learning outcomes.
- Practical
& Experiential Learning: Strengthen laboratory work,
experimentation, inquiry, investigations, projects, real-world
applications, and STEM connections within the curriculum and learning
resources.
