Position Summary
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support semiconductor manufacturing operations through effective execution of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in SAP, procurement of MRO materials, supplier management, and inventory optimization. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Stores, and Suppliers to proactively manage supply risks, expedite critical materials, and minimize manufacturing downtime.




This position requires flexibility in working hours to allow for communication and team participation with Global ADI Procurement Team. Buyer acts as point of contact for Procurement related assistance for our offices across ADI.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and execute MRP to ensure timely replenishment of production and maintenance materials.
- Analyze demand, inventory levels, lead times, and supplier commitments to determine procurement actions.
- Manage purchase order creation, maintenance, reschedules, cancellations, and quantity adjustments.
- Monitor shortages and proactively mitigate supply risks impacting manufacturing operations and drive improved inventory health.
- Collaborate with Planning, Category management and Operations teams on demand changes and supply recovery plans.
